Turtle Beach to Wahiba Sands 2 Days

Day 01: Scenic Coastal Road and Turtles

Itinerary:

• Pick-up time: 8:30 AM.
• Bimmah Sinkhole: Begin your day with a scenic drive through the mountainous landscape, arriving at the dramatic Bimmah Sinkhole. Take some time to swim in the clear, sparkling waters and refresh yourself.
• Wadi Shab: After the sinkhole, drive south towards the Quriyat Region, and head to the stunning Wadi Shab. You'll cross the wadi in a small fishing boat to begin a journey through an incredible canyon. The beauty of this area is breathtaking. You’ll arrive at the famous Keyhole, where you can relax and swim in crystal-clear waters and dive through a narrow keyhole to explore a magnificent cave with a waterfall inside.
• Lunch: Enjoy lunch in Wadi Bani Khalid.
• Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve: After lunch, continue to the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve, where you can relax at your hotel.
• Turtle Watching: Dinner is served at 8:00 PM, followed by a guide-led excursion to the beach to search for turtles. While sightings are generally successful, there are no guarantees. Afterward, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02: Wadi Bani Khalid and Wahiba Sands

Itinerary:

• Breakfast: Start your day with breakfast at the hotel.
• Wahiba Sands: Depart from your hotel and head toward the golden sands of Wahiba Desert. The Wahiba Sands spans 200 km long and 100 km wide. Experience an exhilarating dune bashing adventure across the golden sand dunes and visit a local Bedouin house for traditional Omani coffee. Camel rides will be available for you to experience.
• Wadi Bani Khalid: Next, travel to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most beautiful wadis, famous for its clear, deep blue water. This wadi holds water all year round, sustained by mountain springs. You will also see the picturesque villages nestled on the rugged mountainsides.
• Lunch: Enjoy a meal in Wadi Bani Khalid.
• Return to Muscat: After lunch, you will return to Muscat, arriving around 5:00 PM.
